Hello faithful followers and newcomers alike!
We have been busy bees here in Couderay! We’ve taken off the old siding, made some repairs where needed, and got the house wrapped. Phil put in all new windows downstairs, and as I type this, he’s working on putting in the new exterior doors. It’s been a bit of a struggle; this is an old house and not everything is straight. And so, a new blog post was born!
I’ve included an info graphic with some helpful information. There is also a plethora of videos on YouTube where you can see someone doing this very same thing.
Well be starting on the siding soon! I can’t wait to see the outside finished. We’re feeling the pressure as the temperatures fall and the leaves change to get the outside complete before the snow flies.
But how blessed I am to be in the northwoods! The splendor of the autumn colors, the beauty of the land, enjoying watching the wild life. I even saw a bear crossing the road a few days ago!
